Replacement of 100w laser tube with 80w?
Due to a recent power loss of about 50%, I believe I will replace the 100w tube with an 80w EFR ZS-1250. I have noticed doing a quick test cut, I can not get over 21ma on the meter. Shouldn't I be getting more than 21ma with the 100w tube?? After replacing the 100w with a 80w tube, can I keep the or...

Re: Test of 100w tube for power loss
Yes, I have already went through the cleaning and alignment procedures. If the laser tube was good or new, what speed should the laser be able to cut with the 6mm acrylic set at 70% ???? Also, I have emailed Ada regarding a new tube from U.S. warehouse, but have not received an answer. Should I emai...

Test of 100w tube for power loss
I have a Nova35 with 100w tube. It has run for 15 months, but has very low hours of use. I followed the instructions at Thunderlaser to cut 15mm circles in 6mm acrylic at 70% power to find the fastest speed that would cut through. I was only able to cut through at 9mm/sec. I am unable to get Thunder...

V8.01.24 Drastic size change between screen and laser
Just loaded the new V8.01.24 and now I have a new problem. The object looks fine on the computer and on the laser screen after downloaded. When I "Frame" the job, the frame path of the laser head is extremely different. Not even close to reality. I am also getting regular "X slop over...

V8.01.24 Horiz flip between comp and laser
Just loaded the new V8.01.24 and now I have a new problem. The file appears correct on the RDWorks screen. The simulation looks correct. When the file is downloaded to the laser, it gets a "Horizontal Mirror". This happens with files created in CoralDraw or within RdWorks. Even on old file...

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hello, I just received my first laser, a Thunder Laser Nova35, 100w. So far, I really like the machine. Not so much the software and waiting , hoping for CoralDraw support for latest software. I'm in Santa Barbara County, California. If anyone out there is nearby, give out a shout. Just finished a F...
