The problem of cutting 8mm stainless!
Hi all, some advice please!! Thank you in advance! A few weeks ago i cut 8mm stainless on our 2.2 kw bystronic, using default settings, and had a brilliant cut - no burrs or anything! I am now trying to cut some again and the cut edge is still brilliant but there are massive (approx 3-5mm long) jagg...

anodized aluminum and coated metal can be engraved with your co2 laser directly,
if it's naked metal, you may need Thermark (TherMark Laser Marking) for help.

Hi,
preliminary judgement, the problem should be caused by motors, controllers or power supply. I am not sure. by the way, why not you can't get any support from your supplier? can you tell me where did you buy the machine and the supplier's name? and which type of your controller?
