Machine Selection

Post by Jason Go »

Hello buddies,

I am completely new in the engraving. Could you please share your valuable experiences in this case with me?
First of all I want to know which machine is suitable for what I want to do.
I prefer to buy one that can do a variety range of works I want to do.

I want to:

1- Engrave Metal, Acrylic, Glass, Plastic parts, texture & paper
2- Cut Acrylic, Plastic parts, paper

Actually, I am a beginner, so I don’t want to pay so much. It will be great if I can handle all above with buying one machine.

Thank you very much.

Hi
A c02 laser will not engrave metals, what you need is to coat the metal with a coating like cermark, http://www.thermark.com/content/view/36/78/
Then engrave, the cermark sticks to the metal, its the only way to do metal with a c02 machine.
