New and have some questions.

Post by Thrax »

Hello,

So I just got handed a http://bwtek.com/products/bwf5/ that is in great condition.

I was hoping to get some insight on what this thing could be capable of? I was hoping to attach it to a cnc and do engraving etching etc. I am new to lasers (I know this item is extremely dangerous) but could someone please let me know what kind of troubles to expect in converting this to a engraving machine? (i was hoping it could do leather, wood at least)

I really appreciate your time to read and get back to me.
