Ghosting Font...

Hi From Perth Western Australia,
I'm new to this Forum and working with Laser Machines. We Laser Plastic with Laser Additive, getting the mark is not a problem. Getting a clear mark is harder than it should be. We are using "True Type Font-47" "Arial Bold". When the laser marks on the product there is "ghosting". I am sure it is linked to a setting but I can't work out how to stop it from happening.
