Add TTL board to the laser I bought

1st posting.
I wanted to add a laser to my CNC and not knowing what I was doing probably bought the wrong laser. The laser I bought from GoodBang is a LA03-2500 445nm 2500mw blue Laser with heatsink and fan.

As I hope you can see by the photo the system consist of a 110V PS with 12VDC output that runs the fan and laser, there isn’t a TTL board so I can only control the laser by switching the 12VDC on and off, I’m told that this is very hard on the laser and will shorten the life.

I have seen a few TTL modulator boards on eBay and I’m thinking then I could control the laser on and off using one of those and make the laser last longer, am I correct in thinking I could add a TTL board?

Would appreciate any help.

The connections look pretty straight forward, however this particular board match the laser specs, I just showed it because it listed the connection points.
