Brand new laser, 6040 Chinese, blowing fuse

Post by Cb942 »

I have a brand new laser and the inside light Powers up and the elevator works but the Ruida controller does not light at all. I found that the fuse was blown where the power connects in the back which only seems to protect one leg of the circuit, 220, but when I replace the fuse it instantly blows again. I'm not sure how to diagnose as I see no pinches shorts or loose connections. I'm hoping for some help because I would really like to play with this new toy that I've waited 2 months for. Pictures attached. Can anybody give me some magic words please?

I found the issue... it was a bad power supply, the ac>dc converter. Thanks
