Trotec Speedy 300 Co2

Post by richdavis » Wed Oct 17, 2018 4:08 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions that aren't going to cost £5k, with regard repairing our laser source. It's an Iradion 156f which came on our Speedy 300. It's run less than 2,000 hours and is only 3½ years old.

It was running fine last week then became intermittent and then stopped outputting a beam. It wasn't loosing power building up to this which makes me suspect it's a PCB or electronic problem on board the actual laser head.

We had an engineer come out to check the system and that's all fine.

Has any one had the nerve to have the cover off one yet ?

Just checking before we bin a £16k machine for no good reason.

Hi Rich,

Did you find a solution?

I am in the midst of fixing a similar problem with my Speedy 400.

Might be able to help each other?
