I have been making PCB boards for maybe 30 years now, and have tried about every technique known. I have heard that people can make a PCB by covering a copper clad board with paint, then laser etching away everything except the traces, after which one etches the board as usual.
But I have another question. Drilling the holes with teensy drills is always difficult. I usually use 2 mm epoxy boards with half ounce copper. What sort of laser etcher, if any, could I cajole into drilling holes in these boards?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
