Hi!
After being down for many months, I finally switched out my laser tube, and power supply of my Chinese 60W Co2 laser cutter. It seem to cut just fine.
However I went to do a raster job etching a logo on glass, and im having an odd problem.
Initially the job works fine, but at some point it makes a "clicking" noise and skips 3-6" to the left and continues etching the job. A few lines later "click click click" and it skips again.
The head is NOT touching/rubbing the surface. I cant see any resistance on the machine at all.
I have tried various speeds/power settings. I do cutting jobs 98% of the time. This is like my 4th raster job ever. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello WilliamKr , hope my suggestion can help you.
1. you mean you just change the laser tube and power supply, right?
2. for cutting job, please don't more than 85% power, or the laser tube will over very soon.
3. can you post some pictures of your guide rail and laser tube, the problem is it mkes a "clicking" noise but the machine can work fine?
I can't judge what's wrong with your machine this moment, sorry.
