I have been doing a lot of raster engraving, but am stuck with the 1 bit format. Would like any info/ links to upgrade my Chinese LG 500(older version) 60w that now has a MPC03 controller and lasercut 5.3 software. Would like to upgrade unit to a control board and software that would allow rastering in 8 bit for better results. Have seen guys talk about 8 bit here on the forum, but never seen what the "total package" required to get it done or the best venders to find it without requiring a second mortgage.

The best way is to contact the seller. You need to buy the new controller and replace the old one. In addtion, they can send you the upgrade software to you by email.
