Hi.
We live in wonderful Essex ENGLAND.
We have bought a NEJE MASTER 7w engraver.
It works well and so we decided to get the 20w module to cut stuff out.
Let's see how we get on.

Hello from West Michigan.

Looking forward to the knowledge library that has been accumulated on this forum.

I have been in the laser marking business for a number of years and have CO2, YAG
and our newest addition after many years, a 50 watt LaserStar fiber laser.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello from New Zealand,

My name is Adolf Peter and I have been working as a Junior Tech Assistant in a company that provides services about jewelry. I don’t know if Mentioning the company is allowed or not. LOL.

I found one of the threads of this forum on google last night and I really like the way you guys helped each other. I feel like I also should make an account here, maybe I can help somebody. Or at least get some updated information about jewelry.

Good Morning from Florida.

In a nutshell, I am 75 yrs old, retired (of course), and have been doing woodworking cnc stuff for several years now. I think that a laser engraver would enhance lots of my projects. I give them all away to family, friends and whoever will take one :D ....I have been looking at an Ortur Laser Master 15W Desktop Laser Engraver online and am just about to order one. I hope it will give me good service. I am not interested in cutting with it, only engraving and would appreciate any encouragement this forum could give me. I live in Deltona, Florida and would also like to meet other laser users over a cuppa coffee if possible. Thank you.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA and am strongly considering purchasing a CNC laser engraver/cutter. I'll be turning 70 in a few weeks and as always, looking for new and different things to keep my mind active.

The laser engraver/cutter that I finally choose will be used for home hobby work so no production needs are necessary, although the ability to cut through 3mm to 6mm wood would be very beneficial.

My other hobbies are woodworking and enjoying my 2004 BMW in the summer months. I used to have street rods that I built/modified (1974 GTO and 1948 Pontiac) and had motorcycles also. Unfortunately the hips and knees and ankles have started to wear out so the motorcycle days are over.

As a "genuine" Newbie to the world of CNC laser engraver/cutters, I don't have a machine yet ... but will be asking many questions to try to sort out the myriad of options out there.

Hello Everyone
I’ve had my BossLaser 1420 for about a year now and still learning. There always seems to be someone who knows how to do something better/faster/easier which is why I signed up here. Hoping to one day turn my hobby into a business, but right now, just having fun making stuff.

How did the 20W laser retrofit work out?

I am a complete rookie when it comes to lasers. I have one of the 60W red and black chinese lasers that has done nothing for two years except be covered in dust and disgust. It arrived smashed and I have done everything I could to fix it. I finally gave up. I would like to use it as it would be very nice to have when building guitars. I know I need a new tube since that was broken in shipping. I need somebody with more knowledge and experience than I have to get me through this one.

Hello Gurus,
75 year young, busy as hell. Small problem with the software.
I bought this engraver (does a beat job) to engrave names onto hand made quality wood pens. The laser does a grand job, but what's annoying is that whenever I want to change the name, I need to shut the software down and restart it, then double-click "Insert Text", before I can burn another name.

Is there an easier way? Thanks Gurus. :D
