I am in process of building my own CO2 laser cutter/engraver.
Is servo motor recommended or should I use stepper ?
I have found this sine I have 57mm mounts servo motor + driver on aliexpress
Any good ?

I have some questions for you that hope you can answer
1. your co2 laser cutter is used what the type of rail for motion system?
2. which of the brand of servo motor manufacturer that you saw？ the driver should also a servo driver, right?
3. you said that your laser was installed the 57mm mounts for motor, right? if so, you will need to buy a 57 series motor for your laser

I see the servos + drivers are much higher price. But I dont know IF i need servos+drivers..
