I have a wee bit of an issue with mine. My laser is fine with small pieces less than 5" but when I try larger pieces 6" and beyond, the strength just seems to peter out until it just fades out to nothing. Not sure what this is so I am hoping someone can give me a direction to go in on this.

Re: Problems with beam strength at larger measurements
Hi,
you didn't mention what machine you have, material, tube power, etc.
several things that might cause this:
1. (imho most probable) unaligned light path. as your gantry moves away the beam moves further away from the final mirror window.
2. uneven table and beam going out of focus as distance to material chages.
3 (less likely) insuficient cooling effect of which you only see during jobs longer then your small parts
