y-ax size not correct

Post by mikeynl »

Hi Guys,

I have a problem and maybe it is easy to fix ?

If i mark a line on wood with rdworks 40mm long, the laser only marks 37mm on the wood. If i test it with the x-ax it is 40mm long.

Is this a callibration issue ?

If i let the laser travel from top to bottom, the screen knows exactly what 0 to 700mm is. But somehow in a workflow it is out of allignment.

Anyone ?

Please follow the pictures below to find the “Vender settings “and then input the password. Now select the X/Y axis and revise the step length, input the numbers as the below, and the software will count the correct number automatically, please click “save parameter “and then exit.

You need a Ventor Parameter Password

Now reset the laser cutter and draw a new 100x100mm square, if the size is correct, the problem is fixed.

If not, please repeat the step 1-3.

OK, calibrated 100% by hand, adjusted the step length x and y, tested a lot, and have _perfect_ 250x 250 and 100x100
