Light Objective 1650W Chiller

Post by kagtinyzs »

Someone mentioned Lightobjective in California as a source for laser components, so I was checking out their offerings. I noticed that in addition to the CW5200 chiller (1400W) they also have their own offering, the Lightobjective 1650. Has anyone tried one of these? Any preference for the CW5200 or Lightobjective 1650? Price is comparable on the two chillers - $665 for the CW5200 and $625 for the Lightobjective 1650.

haven't had any experience with the Lightobjects one but reading the spec's the 5200 looks to be a little better, but I'm sure the 1650 would be ok for your applications.

Thanks Bigbird and Sixstringlz. It looks like they are out of stock on the CW5200 and it would have to be ordered from China. They do have the 1650 in stock, so I'll probably go with that one. The biggest difference I saw in the specs was with the lift...10M for the CW5200 and 5M for the 1650. Hard to understand why there is that much difference since the pumps in both have the same power and flow rate. Just another one of those number games I guess.
