Hi Ben,
I have to cut a cardboard only half of its thickness and I was playing around and get very good results using the pulse button.
In few passes the cardboard was half cut and the cuts were extremely clean, no trace of burn at all.
# Is it OK to use the pulse function for this type of job? ( I have to half cut cardboard for about 100 packaging boxes)
# is there a way to set this procedure from rdworks software?
Thank you
Anda

Re: Pulse button
Hi Anda,
Sorry for my late reply,i just came back from exhibition in bulgaria.
For cutting by pulse button, did you just move the laser head and press the pulse button at the same time.
Let me know how did you use pulse function to cut?
We don't recommend to use it to cut, since it have no air assist to cool the focus lens and material when press the pulse button.
