We finally got our laser machine

Post by Renaldo_Neely »

Nolan,
We finally got our laser machine. We setup the machine per your instructions and
keep blowing fuses. No I pulled the fuse out of the machine and it looks like a 10Amp 250V fast
blowing fuse. Your manual for the 130 says it should be a 15Amp 250Volt fuse which is
correct. Note that the manual says that it should be 15Amp fuse for 80 watt laser and ours
is over that. Please tell me what I should use.
Renaldo
The fuse is 5mm diameter round and 20mm glass fuse.
Please respond quickly because we will be using our machine monday morning.

Is that a slow blow fuse or fast blow fuse?

Another Question:

Post by Renaldo_Neely »

We have been having problems loading a file from Udisk. Is Udisk the Laser Cutter's
name for USB drive? What kind of file is the Laser Cutter looking for? Does it read .dxf
file or do you have to run everything through RD-Works? I am probably doing this wrong
thing. Can you help.
I read the manual but still I'm a little confused.
