Hi Tom
I try to cut 6.5mm birch plywood (russian plywood)
Laser Mars 90 130 watts
use 4inches head
focus at 10mm hight from the material
setting Speed 12 power 60
Air assist ON at 4 Bar

dosn't want to pass true... have to do twice before it cut but still not pass true on all the parts.

Hi Alx
Sorry to hear that your laser is not working well
I have some questions for you, it will helps me judge your laser problem
1. when the laser was ordered from thunder laser?
2. did you check that the alignment of laser beam if it's working fine?
3. did you had ordered a high air pressure compressor from us? it's a big white one of air compressor, not air pump

Waiting for your reply

Hi Ale
1. ok, thank you, so you should used the laser for last 7 months while you got it
2. please make a check according to below steps
This problem should be caused by three reasons
1. A laser beam to the working table of all position are not vertical.
2. the focal distance is not adjusted good for cut stuff.
3. working table uneven
4. material density maldistribution or bent

We are first try to checking the factor 1
1 .A laser beam to the working table of all position are not vertical.
A laser beam to every position must be 90 degree perpendicular.
the perpendicularity will affect the machine's cutting ability especially for cutting large size material
The URL, is about check and adjust the laser beam path of the video on youtube released by our company.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw8Ro2vEEzY

You will need to check the fourth step and the fifth step of the video in youtube.
1,Draw 4 dots at the 4 corners, make sure the dots are at the same place?
2, Put 4 stickers on the nozzle of laser head and draw 4 dots at the 4 corners,
make sure the 4 dots is in the center all like attached picture 1
If the above checks are normal, we can say that the laser beam path is working fine, and please going to the next step.

PS:the laser beam to every position(you also can try to check it by test four corners and the center) must be 90 degree perpendicular.
you can use a 10mm thickness acrylic and check if it can cuts the edge is smooth and straight(90 degree perpendicular with underside)
or please find a piece acrylic and then using the laser machine hit a line and check if it is a straight line?
the perpendicularity will affect the machine's cutting ability especially for cutting large size material
please also see attached picture 2
if so, you will need to realign the laser beam path for the laser machine especially the third mirror.

If the fourth step is ok after you check. and only the fifth step has a problem
You will can only adjust the three mirror holder directly to let the laser beam vertical to the four corners of the table
See that the attached picture 3

Hi Ale
Please set your pulse power to 30%, it will not outputs a complete power if you set it only 10% power
After set it to 30% to see if it will becomes to a fill circle of dot
Then check the align of the laser beam again, thanks

Hi Tom
I did every thing you suggest me but still a power problem

the only way i can cut 6.35mm birch plywood I need to put my setup at:
3 speed
60 power
10mm focus
Lens 4inches
R-assit at 4 bar

60 power give me a 25mA on the meter

Again it is a Mars 90___130 watts
I should be able to cut 18mm russian plywood with those setting

1. after you set that pulse power to 30%, the laser dot is still a circle spot?
2. did you check the align of laser beam if it's working fine?just according to i sent you that the instructions to check previous post
