NEWBIE needs advice

Post by dittamus »

Greetings
I am a production manager and I am trying to reduce time and improve quality in coating area. I basically need a machine that can cut regular masking tape. The hobby units look like the way to go but I am way out of my depth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

What size do you want?If you work area smaller less than 200mm,I recommend the laser marking machine to you.The efficiency is greatly raised. If the work area bigger, laser engraver is better

First off THANK YOU!
200 mm is big enough. Is there a wattage or laser type, UV... blue, I should be looking for?

I was new to the masking tape and painters tape.Do you know the laser can engrave in it?I need more infomation for masking tape and painters tape.Laser marking machine use Fiber laser, they good in engraving metal and Plastic. But not good in other. And CO2 laser good in Nonmetal.I think masking tape and painters tape don't need a lot of laser power.
