Need help for after laser engrave oxidation

Post by Kenh »

Hi all!

I'm Kenh. I have recently ordered a batch of laser engraved thumb drive from a supplier and almost half of them are "dirty"(as attached picture). So I filed a complain and they send another batch of the thumb drive shell which I've just received this morning. All are all fine but until the same day at night I notice they turned "dirty" like the last batch. I've ask them about this matter, they said it's oxidation.

May I know what is going on, does oxidation is this fast? I've only taken out the shell and replace the previous one then packing it back into the plastic. Most importantly, is there any solution I can do on my part? The thumb drives are for my client, I can't just hand it out like this.

Thank you all in advance, please help!
