Cutting Ready Made T-Shirts

Post by tosh60 »

Hi
I have a laser machine I am trying to cut ready made T-shirt
The material is cotton. I am having trouble cutting straight through without burning the material.
What is the correct setting for 100w Reci laser, Power and speed. I have the RDWorksV8. Please see attached images.
I have checked the work table it is level, the mirrors are clean. The laser is 6mm above material.

The Laser Machine is RDJ1290 Laser Machine by Jinan Rongding

You will then need to cutting out one or two records to check the setting. Based on my experience you can use 20%power 40mm/s speed. And you need a hight-power exhaust fan adsorbent the fabric.
