Hi there - can you please confirm what size lens to use with the HR laser head? Is it the same 2" (50.8mm) lens that is used with the standard head or something else?
Also - can you provide suggested settings (power, speed, and interval) for achieving good results with the HR head on wood?
Thanks!

Re: Settings for HR photo engraving
Good day!
Yes,the HR laser head is used with 2'' lens that is used with the standard head, but there're two 2 " lens are installed inside.
For the HR photo engraving, you should find a high resolution image or picture first.
How to set the picture on the software, please go to below link.

And the setting(power, speed, and interval) ,i will suggest the power 15% to 25% (according to the laser tube),speed 500mm/s and interval 0.06(DPI 400 ).
Hope it can help for your work.
By the way, please improve your profile for machine info so we can check your machine information.

Re: Settings for HR photo engraving
Thank you for your response.
Can you please show how the two lenses are to be installed in the HR laser head? Are they stacked on top of each other? This is not clear to me - thank you.
I have a Nova 35 130w - I could not find where to add my machine's serial number to my profile.
Thank you - Dan

Re: Settings for HR photo engraving
Hi Ben - thank you. That is how I have the one lens installed (it is facing the correct way).
My original question still stands - how do you install two lenses? Do you stack them on top of each other?
Thanks
