Laser is off in Y or thinks it,s still in rotary

Laser is off in Y or thinks it,s still in rotary.
Enable rotary off in User/other And i did write the file to the laser and the laser button is off for the rotary. When I reset the laser it does some odd jerky moves, sounds bad. I did have the same trouble getting it into rotary mode but did get it to work some how. Not sure what I did.
I have gone back and forth between flat work and rotary work before with on problems.
Any Ideas?
