Hello, I just bought a Benbox (I think, that the only thing it said in the auction) 500mW laser engraver off Ebay and I've been trying to get it working with no luck. I downloaded the benbox software and somehow got the laser to work for a minute on full power (when I tried to focus it, it started burning. Now the benbox software says it's disconnected and I'm lost. Do anyone have any idea how to get this thing to work ???
Here is the Ebay link if it helps...

I bought a Chinese laser recently. 3000mw. Just a bunch of parts in a box. No instructions or software. I found this site most helpful.

You have to upload the firmware into the controller.
Hope this helps

It appears that you're experiencing some difficulties setting up and operating your Benbox laser engraver. I can appreciate how annoying that must be. I can tell you about my good experience using Monport Laser https://bit.ly/48Fxwm7, even though I am unable to provide detailed guidance on resolving connectivity problems with the Benbox software. I moved to Monport Laser a few months ago for my engraving requirements, and I've found it to be quite easy to use. The devices are dependable and effective, and the software is easy to use. Additionally, their customer service staff is always on hand to help with any technological issues. Monport Laser is a hassle-free solution that I strongly suggest trying if you're looking for one. For me, it's changed the game, and I have no doubt that it will do the same for you.Broken Road Customs wrote: ↑Thu Oct 11, 2018 12:42 am Hello, I just bought a Benbox (I think, that the only thing it said in the auction) 500mW laser engraver off Ebay and I've been trying to get it working with no luck. Regarding your current issue with the Benbox engraver, troubleshooting steps can be taken. First, ensure all connections are securely in place and try restarting both your computer and the engraver. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the Benbox software and ensuring that all necessary drivers are installed and up to date. Alternatively, exploring alternative software options like LaserGRBL might provide better compatibility and functionality.
