Poor quality engraving

Hi all.
I am having difficulty with getting good enough quality images from my laser machine.
I have included images of the corel draw files i'm uploading to rd works and the end engraving.
A lot of the detail is missing. The laser goes over the area when scanning across, but doesn't burn the area.
I etched the dozer on paper for clarity. If you notice the exhaust pipe, there is no upright section, and much of the detail is lost.
The iron man hasn't go any background like in the corel file.
I'm at a loss as to why the machine doesn't fire on the dots in the file.

Any help would be greatly received.

Many thanks
Gary

This seems to be a common problem with Chinese lasers. I had to keep bugging tech support before I got any response. Mine still isn't fixed, but at least they are working on it

I don't think it's the problem of machine, if you want, send me the pics and I can test, we make lots of samples like this to our customers, just shoot me by sale@gurulaser.com

With mine it turned out the factory told me the wrong focal height.

It looks like to high a DPI for your lens size, the lens is likely overlapping itself
