Looking to invest in something to mark up small metal parts with part numbers rather than bagging in grip seal bags

Typical items are 50mm across and are alloy, some mild steel.

Ive looked at Co2 and use Cermark spray, but the cost of the spray makes me feel long term a cheap fiber laser may be a better option?

These parts are low cost (under £5) so cost of machine to mark part number needs to be low to make cost effective. Ive seen 20w fiber machines for as little as £1600, are these a waste of time? Being part numbers, they quality doesnt have to be fantastic, only ledgible.
