Control Panel issue

I have an issue with the Up/down arrow button on the control panel. When I try to choose a file, these buttons do not work. I have tried re-setting the para settings, reset button, unplugging the machine. I have a Nova 35. It does tell me "No connectivity" but all the other buttons will work when I choose Esc/Enter/X/Y/Diagnostic/etc...
