overhead compartment light is flashing

I have an Kaitian laser model BF1610. The overhead compartment light is flashing. It is strobing about one flash per second. It gets faster as it gets warmer. Right now the temp is 74 degrees and it is not flashing. As the day warms up it willl start flashing some where around 82 degrees. Is this a warning sign, or just something going out. The laser works fine
