Hi ya all. I have a 6040 40 W laser and bought it second hand last year. Recently it developed a fault. I think it turned out to be a failed transformer which I replaced. Now I’ve rebuilt it it has a new problem. As soon as you turn on the power on the main console the laser comes on. I’ve disconnected the “test” button on the console in case it was stuck but that didn’t work. If you don’t turn the power on,but press the laser test button it works as long as button is pressed. Any ideas good people..
