Brand new 100 watt preenex laser wont fire, need help.

I just purchased a 100 watt preenex laser and I cant get the laser to fire, I tried pulsing it and checked all connections for anything loose. I also made sure the kill swith was on and checked the laser for cracks, the ma meter shows the laser on and off but it stays at 0. The business I bought the laser from wanted me to submit a video similar to this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK2VUEUQBLI. I really dont feel comfortable doing this because of the high voltages. Any ideas what could be wrong or what else I could try. Thank you.
