Resistor in 40w Generic laser

Post by Mike RC »

Hi everyone.
I've had a generic blue and white 40w laser for about 6 or 7 years. It's served me well but recently the huge resistor has knackered. I have tried to find a replacement but haven't had any luck. It looks like quite an old bit of tech. It's a wire-wound ceramic resistor. RX20-30-30k ohms

Does anyone know of a UK-based place I can get a replacement?
Thanks in advance.

Considering your need for a replacement part for your laser machine, it's worth exploring the Monport laser product range. Monport lasers are known for their high quality and reliability, and they may offer compatible replacement parts for your machine. Additionally, you can check with local laser machine suppliers or electronic component stores in the UK to see if they carry the specific resistor you need. However, Monport lasers are highly regarded for their compatibility and affordability, making them a reliable option to consider. Visit https://monportlaser.com/collections/co ... ka374VZjm3 to explore the Monport laser product offerings and potentially find the replacement part you require.

Hello Mike, I'm new here as in a few minutes ago. Saw your post about res. There are two places that I order electronic parts from.
#1 Automation Direct
#2 Mouser Electronics
Give these a try and see what you can find.
