Description:
This one is based on the triceratops puzzles that exists in countless, near identical versions on the web and in toy shops. I have no idea who originally made this puzzle. I needed a small yet rugged triceratops for kids to dig out during a dinosaur themed week at our Science centre. I used pictures from the web and a few different kits I had lying around as guides, but made several adjustments, not only to scale. Due to the thickness of the sheets I use, I had to carefully reconstruct the parts to make the kit go together. The drawing I made prints as a framed kit, and you can fit 12 onto one 18'' X 24'' sheet of 1/8'' MDF, plywood or acrylic for aspiring palaeontologists to enjoy. download the cdr:
