Hello Tom,
Concerning Ethernet, eveything is ok/ i could connect and it's much better than USB ;-)
Now, i face another problem:
I could make a splicing model and import a DXF file without any problem.
I place the cuting file in good position, and when i want to start cutting, i get this information:
'Modelname:Not specify the feature1'

When i try to specify the feature1 in Model Settings, nothing happens...

Any idea?

Thank you for your help ;-)

Hi Andy,
this issue is caused by the camera doesn't scan the item, please check this video, I think it's easy for you to understand.

Hi Andy
Sorry to reply so lately
I just come back from Shanghai fair
So i can't reply you in time on the laser forum

Thank you for your video
It makes clear for me
Ok,i should know where cause this error message
Before you press start button on the interface
Please move the camera to the selected feature position, let the camera to recognize the feature what you drawn
From video i saw you selected the feature is left graphics but your camera is still stoped at the right graphics

2. please select a more simply outline as the feature, for example, select one of outside circles(four big circles) as the feature

One more thing
For your job which has four small graphicss, you can refer to 03 film How to create and set up the model of multi objects
It will be better for your current job

Any unclear, please contact me again

Hello Tom,
sorry for late reply, i was on holiday last week ;-)

Now, i can finally launch the cutting thru RD Vision.
The new problem i have is that even if i cut a single and simple imported DXF outline that is correctly placed on the spliced picture,
and i give the correct cross position to start on with the camera, the machine will always cut approx 17cm lefter than expected.

I don't know why and i don't know what to do...

Do you have any advice for me?

Thank you for your help...

Hi Andy
You said that you gave the correct cross position to start?
And you used the splicing model to cut your simple inported DXF outline?
You meant that you selected the cross as the features? then used two marks as the feature?

Then do you selected a correct feature with your spliced picture?
If you have had do it, i guess that you should be make the camera calibration for your laser again
It should has a wrong para now so it cuts approx 17cm lefter than expected.

And if you still get the same, please make camera calibration again then see that video again i sent you before
