Hi
When I trace an image a double line is formed. What tool should I use to centerline ? Does the double line affect in any way the path of the laser beam?
Thank you

Ok,thanks for your picture.
what do you mean to centerline?
And whatever is your file,it will not affect the the path of the laser beam.

Re: double line in traced image
Hi Ben
I was observing the laser and when the file has double lines it fires twice the same path and it takes longer to cut the pattern.
If instead of a double line is a single line the time to cut the same patter is less.
Centreline is a middle line between the two lines and it replaces these lines. Inkscape has a tool , but it does not work very well.
I thought that you know about another tool.....
Thank you

Good day!
Sorry for my late reply.
I got what you want to do,but i'm afraid the RDworks have not this option to make a centerline.
Please try with other software then import to RDowrks to do the job.
By the way, please help to improve your user profile.

Hi Ben,
Which software do you suggest?
Does the double line have any impact on the time need to cut the design?
Thank you

Re: double line in traced image
Hi Anda,
Let's be clear.
1.If you mean there're double lines in the same place,so each line will be cut twice,of course it will take more time and it's unnecessary.
For that case,in RDworks you can use "delete overlap" to check and delete somewhere might overlap.see below. 2.If you mean double line as below I think you should delete one of them according to your need.
