Shadow each layer ? EZcad

Hello,
I have a 30w fiber laser, speed 500 , power 50%
It's a new issue that just started happening.
When I select text to engrave, it does a 3 pass over.
each time it seems to be moving to create a shadow effect.
When I do one line of text, it does not do it.
Does anyone know why? I have check every setting, but can't find a reason why it moves each pass over?
Any help would be appreciated
This never happed before today, I did a reset, no joy..
It moves 1mm up and 0.5mm back each flyby
