Suitable laser engraver for stainless steel

I have been searching the internet to find a laser engraver that can vaporize stainless steel. I'm starting a small jewelry personalization business. I currently use a old pantograph engraver but would love to convert to laser. From the information that I have seen so far, there are 2 things I've noticed.
1) In order to engrave metal, you must use a fiber laser
2) Fiber lasers start around 4k and go up from there

My question is am I accurate at stating these 2 points? Or am I missing something here? I want to engrave rings that are made of stainless steel. I don't want to "mark" them, but actually engrave them. Any thoughts or ideas or pointers in a good direction would be most helpful. Thank you.

Yes, you need a fiber laser marking machine. If you want to engrave instead of marking, I think you may need a high-power fiber laser marking machine. In addition, you may also need to buy rotating accessories: https://www.bytelaser.com/product/rotary-worktable/.

For your jewelry personalization business, engraving stainless steel rings requires a laser capable of vaporizing metal, typically a fiber laser. These lasers start at around $4,000 and offer precise engraving on metal surfaces. While CO2 lasers may have limitations, exploring Monport lasers, known for their quality and affordability, could be beneficial. Check out their range to find a suitable fiber laser engraver.
