Guide for Use of Laser Cutting Machine

1. Preparation

First, we must make the following preparations before using the laser cutting machine:

1). Check whether all connections of the laser machine (including power supply, PC and exhaust system) are correct and ensure that they are properly inserted.

2). Please check whether the power supply voltage matches the rated voltage of the machine before use to avoid unnecessary damage.

3). Check whether the exhaust pipe has air outlet to avoid hindering air convection.

4). Check whether there are other foreign matters on the machine.

5). Ensure that the work area and optical elements are clean, and clean them if necessary.

6). Visually check the condition of the laser machine. Ensure the free flow of all institutions.

2. Optical path adjustment method

During the hardware operation, the operation is mainly focused on the focusing part, which is very important. Although the manufacturer has adjusted the focal length before the machine leaves the factory, when the laser cutting machine works for a long time, the optical path will inevitably be misaligned, thus affecting the cutting effect. Only the perfect cooperation of laser tube, reflector frame (A, B, C), focusing lens and corresponding adjustment device can achieve the best effect and process the best products. This is the core part of the laser cutting machine. Therefore, it is necessary to check the optical path and adjust it regularly.

Let's take a look at the method of adjusting the optical path of the laser cutting machine:

1). For the adjustment of the first lamp, paste the masking paper on the dimming target hole of the reflector a, manually tap the lamp (note that the power should not be too large at this time), fine tune the cardinal reflector A and the laser tube bracket of the first lamp to make the light hit the center of the target hole, and note that the light cannot be blocked.

2). Adjust the second light, move the reflector B to the remote controller, and use a piece of cardboard to emit light from near to far to guide the light to the cross light target. Because the high beam is in the target, the near end must be in the target. Then adjust the near end and the high beam point to the same, that is, how far the near end is and how far the far end is, so that the positions of the cross at the near end and the high beam point are the same, indicating that the optical path is parallel to the y-axis guide rail.

3). Adjust the third lamp (Note: the cross will divide the light spot on the left and right sides), move the reflector C to the remote controller, guide the light to the light target, shoot it at the near end and the far end respectively, and adjust the position. The position of the cross following the cross at the near point is the same, which means that the light beam is parallel to the X axis. At this time, when the optical path is in and out, it is necessary to loosen or tighten M1, M2 and M3 on the frame B until the left and right halves.

4). Adjust the fourth lamp, paste a piece of masking paper on the light outlet, let the lamp hole leave a circular mark on the self-adhesive paper, light the lamp, remove the self-adhesive paper, observe the position of the lamp, and adjust the frame according to the situation. M1, M2 and M3 are on C until the point becomes round and straight.

3. Software operation flow of laser cutting machine

In the software part of the laser cutting machine, different parameters need to be set due to different materials and sizes to be cut. This part of parameter setting generally requires professionals to set, and it may take a lot of time to explore. Therefore, the setting of parameters shall be recorded during the training of the manufacturer.

4. Use steps of laser cutting machine

Before cutting materials, start the laser cutting machine as follows:

1). The machine shall be opened in strict accordance with the regulations and the principle of start and stop, and shall not be closed or opened by force;

2). Turn on the air switch, emergency stop switch and key switch (see whether the water tank temperature has alarm display);

3). Turn on the computer and turn on the start button after the computer is fully started;

4). Turn on the motor in turn, enable, follow, laser and red light buttons;

5). Start the machine and import CAD drawings;

6). Adjust the initial processing speed, tracking delay and other parameters;

7). Adjust the focus and center of the laser cutting machine.

When starting cutting, the laser cutting machine operates as follows:

1). Fix the cutting material and fix the material to be cut on the workbench of the laser cutting machine;

2). Adjust the equipment parameters according to the material and thickness of the metal plate;

3). Select appropriate lenses and nozzles, and check their integrity and cleanliness before inspection;

4). Adjust the focal length and adjust the cutting head to the appropriate focusing position;

5). Check and adjust the nozzle center;

6). Calibration of cutting head sensor;

7). Select appropriate cutting gas and check whether the spraying state is good;

8). Try cutting the material. After the material is cut, check whether the cutting end face is smooth and check the cutting accuracy. If there is any error, adjust the equipment parameters accordingly until the proofing meets the requirements;

9). Carry out work-piece drawing programming and corresponding layout, and import the equipment cutting system;

10). Adjust the cutting head position and start cutting;

11). During the operation, staff must be present to carefully observe the cutting conditions. If there is an emergency that requires quick response, press the emergency stop button;

12). Check the cutting quality and accuracy of the first sample.
