Engravelab 10

Post by Jopat »

Hi all,

New to laser engraving. We run a 60w 600x500 machine with engravelab.

Just wondering how to do border's correctly for plates. The border option when I select 1mm seems to not do all the sides the same. The vertical lines are 1mm but the horizontal lines are .6mm.

Is there a better way to create borders?

Thanks
Mal

Welcome to the world of laser engraving! When it comes to creating borders for plates, precision is key. While EngraveLab's border option may not be giving you consistent results, you might want to try manually creating borders in your design software. Consider using vector graphics software like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW to draw precise borders with uniform thickness on all sides. This way, you'll have full control over the dimensions and appearance of your borders.

Additionally, if you're looking for a reliable laser engraving machine that's easy to use, high quality, and affordable, you might want to consider the Monport laser. It's known for its great performance and could be a perfect fit for your needs. Check out the Monport laser product here: https://monportlaser.com/?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3. Good luck with your engraving projects!
